Newman Ranch
Victoria visits her father, and they have a conversation about the “Martin” case.
Victor expresses relief that Traci realized who Martin truly was before it was too late.
Victoria sighs, wondering when their family will finally catch a break.
Victor reassures her, reminding her that the Newmans have always managed to survive whatever life throws their way. He insists that Claire shouldn’t lean on Kyle for support and should turn to her family instead.
Victoria acknowledges her father’s disapproval of Claire’s relationship with Kyle but defends her daughter, saying that Claire cares deeply for him.
Victor remains firm, stating that Kyle doesn’t deserve Claire.
Victoria, however, disagrees with her father’s assessment.
Victor insists he knows the Abbotts better than anyone and believes their family is a mess.
Victoria urges him to focus on the happiness Kyle brings to his granddaughter.
Victor, unyielding, remarks that Kyle is just like his father, and he’s certain the relationship won’t last.
Crimson Lights
Kyle and Claire sit down for coffee, and Kyle sweetly expresses how much he’s missed her.
Claire suggests they make the most of any free time they have together.
Kyle, in a bold move, brings up the idea of them moving in together. Claire is taken aback by the suggestion.
Kyle quickly reassures her, saying they’re just talking about it for now.
Claire, surprised and unprepared for such a serious conversation, isn’t ready to consider this step yet.
Kyle, sensing her hesitation, assures her he doesn’t want to pressure her. They both admit they hate being apart.

Audra and Sally finally get the chance to sit down and catch up. Audra has some news to share.
Sally, curious, asks if Nate has proposed yet.
Audra laughs, reassured that her stance on marriage remains unchanged. Sally, reflecting on her own relationship with Billy, agrees that what they have is wonderful, but they’re not ready for that step either.
Audra quickly shifts the conversation to work. She reveals that if everything goes according to plan, she’ll be working with Victor. “It’s like making a deal with the devil,” she jokes.
Sally is stunned. She can’t believe Audra would consider working for Victor again.
Audra explains that she doesn’t have many options and that Victor has offered her the opportunity to run a division at Newman Enterprises.
Sally remembers how Victor betrayed her in the past and asks what the catch is. Audra explains that the offer involves tempting Kyle away from Claire.
Sally insists Audra should turn down the offer without a second thought. She warns that it’s a dangerous deal with a steep price.
Audra admits she hasn’t made a decision yet, but the offer is certainly tempting.
Sally offers to help Audra find another job, but Audra makes it clear that fashion isn’t her area of expertise—this is her only shot.
Sally is concerned. She presses Audra on how she plans to protect herself in this situation. Audra says she’ll require the terms to be in writing, and notes that it’s clear Victor needs her.
Sally knows Audra can’t fully control the situation and expresses her concern.
Audra reminds Sally that there’s a fine line between love and hate.
Sally, incredulous at Audra’s confidence, wonders if Audra really doesn’t care about hurting Claire in the process.
Audra believes she’d actually be doing Claire a favor.
Sally then asks what Audra will do when Nate finds out what she’s up to.
Newman Ranch
Victor is determined to protect Claire from experiencing the same heartbreak that Summer did.
Victoria insists this situation is different—Claire genuinely wants the best for everyone involved.
Victor acknowledges Claire’s strengths; he already sees the good in her.
Victoria believes Claire has been a positive influence on Kyle and sees real potential for a future between them.
But Victor can’t shake the feeling that this relationship is headed for disaster—and he’s baffled that no one else sees it.
Desperate to change her father’s mind, Victoria urges him to consider the consequences. She warns that pushing too hard could mean losing Claire for good.
Victor firmly says that won’t happen.
Victoria, unwilling to let him sabotage her chance at happiness, stands her ground.
Victor, in the end, only wants to protect Claire from being hurt again.
Crimson Lights
Kyle sees them as a true power couple—and believes things would only get better if they lived under the same roof.
Claire notices he’s not dropping the subject. She starts to imagine where they might live. Kyle, in turn, asks her what would feel right for her.

Audra assures Sally that Nate has nothing to do with what’s going on.
Sally questions why she would take such a risk—Nate is bound to find out sooner or later.
But Audra is confident he won’t. Things are going really well between them, and she’s never been with someone who treats her this well.
Sally warns that it’s not worth the risk.
Audra shares that Kyle saw her with Victor and asked what was going on. She told him Victor was simply doing a little digging—trying to figure out what she was up to.
Sally points out that keeping Nate in the dark isn’t fair to him.
Audra insists she can trap Kyle without ever betraying Nate. To her, it’s just business, and she plans to walk away once it’s done.
“You’re playing with fire,” Sally cautions.
“I won’t get burned,” Audra replies calmly. “Even if I go through with this, it’s just one part of my life. Nate doesn’t need to know.”
Sally reminds her that she’s already put her past with Holden in that same category.
“I’ve told Nate everything he needs to know about that,” Audra says firmly.
Still, Sally warns her not to back herself into a corner she can’t escape. She knows Nate truly cares for Audra and wishes she’d let him in.
“I can handle myself,” Audra replies. “I’m doing this for him, too. This is my only shot to get back in the game—and it’s a good one.”
Sally realizes her friend’s mind is made up.
Audra says she’ll talk to Victor and isn’t worried about Kyle—there are no feelings there.
Crimson Lights
Claire tells Kyle she wants to rule out staying at his suite at the Athletic Club—she’s unsure about being in such tight quarters with the three of them.
Kyle points out that their remaining options are either the Abbott house or finding a new place.
Claire suggests he’d actually love living at the tack house.
Kyle acknowledges that both choices come with complications.
They ultimately agree that the best solution might be finding a place of their own.
Still, Claire brings up an important concern: their desires aren’t the only factor—they need to seriously consider her grandfather.
Kyle insists they can’t let Victor control their happiness.
Claire admits she wishes they had Victor’s support and questions why his disapproval affects her so deeply.
Kyle thinks it mainly stems from Victor’s long-standing hatred for Jack and Billy.
Newman Ranch
Victoria hovers near her father, concerned, asking how he’s feeling after being shot.
Victor assures her he’s fine.
Relieved, Victoria says it’s good to see him gaining strength—they both know the outcome could have been far worse.
Victor shifts the topic, praising Cole’s work at the publishing division.
Victoria is pleased to hear it and thanks him for giving Cole the opportunity, though she admits she dislikes how much travel the role demands. She adds that she’s still hoping he’ll reconsider his stance on Kyle and Claire.
Victor, however, makes it clear he’s said all he needs to on that matter.
As Victoria gathers her things to leave, she asks her father to promise he won’t interfere in Claire’s relationship with Kyle.
Just then, the doorbell rings. On her way out, Victoria opens the door—and is stunned to see Audra standing there.
Victor calmly states that he and Audra have business to discuss.
Curious, Victoria follows her in and asks what kind of business.
Victor reveals he’s offering Audra a position at Newman Enterprises.
With a touch of sarcasm, Victoria remarks that her father is certainly capable of forgiveness—when it suits him.
Victor simply shrugs.
Victoria exits, and Audra takes a seat.
Newman Ranch
Audra arrives unexpectedly and quickly apologizes for the surprise visit.
Victor reassures her—no need to apologize. He’s more interested in whether she’s ready to accept his terms.
She agrees, but with conditions. Audra makes it clear she wants a rock-solid business agreement in place before moving forward. She’s not interested in running a Newman division. Instead, she wants Victor to back her in launching her own company—something like Glissade—but this time, she won’t be pushed aside. She explains the company is a key piece in her strategy involving Kyle.
Victor raises an eyebrow. “Is that so?”
Audra nods and firmly states that above all, she needs to do things her own way.
Victor agrees to her terms—on one condition: it’s up to Audra to help Claire see who Kyle truly is.
Audra doesn’t hesitate. “Consider it done.”
With that, the deal is sealed.
Next Week on The Young and the Restless
Victoria thinks Nick could use a break from Sharon and all the chaos that comes with her.
Michael notices Jack’s upbeat mood and asks if something special happened. Jack replies with a smile, “Where do I even begin?”
Meanwhile, Lily gives Damian one final opportunity to prove he’s trustworthy. He agrees to come clean—but only if she accepts one condition.
