Summer and Chance meet at a restaurant, where Summer admits she’s been struggling with jealousy over Claire. Though she’s tried to suppress it, she confesses that she resents how often Claire gets to see Harrison.
Chance recognizes that the jealousy isn’t really about her son, but Summer’s frustration with Kyle’s admiration for Claire.
Summer shares her feelings about how Kyle puts Claire on a pedestal, and Chance is relieved that Summer is finally being honest. He asks what happens next, but Summer doesn’t have an answer. She hasn’t had time to sort through her emotions and wonders if Chance feels the same way with Abby.
Chance explains that their relationships are different. While he might feel some hurt from Abby’s actions, he isn’t jealous. He believes that facing the tough truths is where they need to start. He presses her on how much time she needs, pointing out that this situation has been going on for a while, and he can’t keep going on like this.
Summer wasn’t prepared for this conversation tonight. She suggests they take a break, process their feelings, and revisit it later. She knows Chance deserves answers, but she doesn’t have them yet.
Chance thinks they should at least try to talk through things. Summer brings up Harrison’s bedtime as a way to avoid further discussion.
Chance isn’t satisfied with leaving things unresolved. He insists that her feelings are not new and won’t go away. With a heavy heart, he tells her she’ll have to deal with it on her own for now.
Sharon’s House
Phyllis suggests that Sharon and Nick reconsider their trip, pointing out that London is just a quick train ride from Paris—and if Alan is somehow tied to their kidnapping, Sharon could be at greater risk.
Nick acknowledges that Phyllis makes a good point.
Sharon agrees, deciding it’s best to postpone their visit to London until the situation is resolved. She reminds them, though, that there’s no telling how long it will take Chance to crack the case.
Phyllis proposes they speed things up by doing some investigating of their own.
Nick questions whether there’s any real evidence linking Alan to the ordeal. Sharon admits it feels like a stretch.
Both women struggle to understand why Alan would choose them specifically for such an experiment.
While Phyllis can grasp the concept of holding grudges or seeking revenge, torturing innocent people seems senseless.
Sharon recalls that it was Alan who helped her remember the night Heather was murdered.
Phyllis warns that psychopaths are often skilled at pretending to be sincere—and by the time people catch on, it’s usually too late.
Nick agrees, noting that whoever orchestrated this isn’t some recluse hiding in the shadows. He pulls out his phone to dig into Alan’s past—and quickly uncovers a surprising fact: Alan had a twin brother.
Traci’s GCAC Suite
Traci receives a call from Jack, who suggests they shouldn’t wait any longer for Alan to call tonight. He encourages her to get some rest. After hanging up, Traci makes herself a drink—only to be shocked when Alan suddenly bursts through the door.
Greeting her warmly, Alan tells Traci he couldn’t wait any longer. She expresses concern, hoping he isn’t upset about their decision to hold the wedding in Genoa City. But Alan reassures her—he’s not upset. In fact, he’s touched that she wants to be married in her family home.
As they begin discussing wedding plans and their connection, Traci hesitates. Alan immediately picks up on her unease and gently asks what’s wrong. Traci chalks it up to being tired and caught off guard by his arrival, but Alan isn’t convinced. He asks if she’s changed her mind about marrying him.
Traci quickly reassures him that she hasn’t. However, she suggests they take some time to plan things, admitting the engagement happened so fast. Alan disagrees, reminding her of the love they share. He questions whether something has happened to make her unsure about their future together.
Traci insists that nothing could scare her away from him. Though Alan hears her words, he can’t shake the feeling that something has shifted. Still, Traci says she just wants to take things slowly. Alan, unwavering, tells her that nothing could ever stop him from loving her—but he’s left confused, trying to understand the source of her hesitation.

Ashley’s Return Sparks Alarming Questions About Alan and Martin
Ashley arrives and unexpectedly runs into Jack. He immediately asks if she saw Alan while she was in Paris.
She didn’t—and seems surprised by the question, unsure if she was supposed to. Ashley mentions seeing the engagement announcement and admits she was shocked by how fast everything moved. Still, she knows how happy her sister is and doesn’t want to question it.
But Jack has concerns—serious ones. He tells Ashley there are things she needs to know, and that he’s worried about their safety when it comes to Alan.
Ashley is taken aback. She can’t imagine what Alan could possibly have to do with any danger.
Jack then poses a chilling question: Is it at all possible that Martin survived the fall in Paris?
Ashley is stunned. She insists it’s impossible. If Martin had survived, surely they would have seen some sign of it by now.
But Jack urges her to really think it through.
Ashley stands firm—she still doesn’t believe it’s likely. But Jack isn’t letting it go. He wants to know everything Alan has told her about his brother.
Ashley recalls that Alan pursued medicine because of Martin’s struggles with mental health. She also reveals that during her relationship with Tucker, she reached out to Alan—only to discover that Martin had been impersonating him.
Jack stresses that Ashley must understand why he’s so concerned. Everything about Alan’s reappearance, the engagement, and the timing feels too perfect.
Ashley finds herself conflicted. Why would Martin go so far as to make Traci fall in love with him? It doesn’t make sense—and she hates the idea of doubting Alan.
But Jack asks the hard question: What if it really is Martin?
Ashley realizes if that’s true, then the danger has been present for months—and Traci could be in immediate trouble. She demands to know what brought on this suspicion in the first place.
Jack reveals the shocking news: Phyllis and Sharon have both been abducted.
Ashley is shaken. The entire situation feels darker and more dangerous than she imagined. Her next question is urgent: Where is Alan now?
Sharon’s House
Chance makes an unexpected return, leaving the trio surprised by how quickly he’s back.
He shares that the clinic in Paris never authorized the gas valve, leading them to suspect their system may have been hacked.
Phyllis is skeptical, pointing out that a psychiatric clinic in France likely isn’t a prime target for hackers.
Chance adds that the clinic also flagged a lease for a farmhouse just outside Genoa City—Phyllis and Sharon believe that’s likely where he stayed during their ordeal.
However, Chance says there still isn’t enough solid evidence to arrest Alan.
Phyllis suggests witnessing his brother’s death may have driven Alan over the edge, while Sharon questions whether this is all part of a bigger plan to frame him.
Nick picks up on Chance holding something back. Chance admits he can’t move forward without concrete proof.
Frustrated, Phyllis asks what more he could possibly need.
Nick reminds him that both Sharon and Phyllis are still at risk—and they deserve answers.
Sharon firmly states: Alan must be stopped.
Jazz Lounge
Jack gently reassures Ashley that Traci is safe upstairs, getting ready for bed, and that Alan is currently in Paris.
Ashley, clearly upset, questions why Jack waited so long to tell her.
Jack explains he wanted to say something earlier, but Traci was unsure and didn’t want to jump to conclusions.
Ashley can’t begin to fathom the emotional chaos her sister must be going through.
Jack admits he’s starting to think Alan could be a real threat, though Ashley is still grappling with that possibility.
He reminds her that Traci never truly knew the difference between Alan and Martin—and asks if Ashley has noticed anything unusual about Alan.
Ashley recalls that Traci and Alan seemed deeply in love the last time she saw them, but admits there were a few things she may have ignored.
Jack presses her for specifics.
Ashley, now visibly protective, vows that if Martin hurts Traci, she’ll deal with him herself. She demands to see her sister and insists they go immediately.
But Jack stops her—firmly but cautiously.
GCAC Suite
Traci gently apologizes but urges Alan to give it some thought—waiting, she believes, will only strengthen their relationship.
Alan, suspicious, wonders if Jack said something to change her mind.
Traci firmly assures him that nothing has changed how she feels about him. Still, Alan questions Jack’s offer to host the wedding and doubts his sincerity in welcoming him as part of the family.
Traci reassures Alan that Jack truly cares and would do anything for them. She asks Alan to honor her feelings and give her the space she’s requesting, reminding him that they should be savoring this special time together.
But Alan remains unconvinced. While he hears her words, he senses there’s something she’s not saying. He insists he knows her better than she thinks—and he’s sure she’s holding something back.
Sharon’s House
Chance reminds Phyllis, Sharon, and Nick that they’re under security protection.
- Still, Phyllis isn’t convinced that’s enough.
- Nick insists they deserve a heads-up if Alan is somehow involved.
- “If it’s even Alan at all,” Chance replies.
- Phyllis presses him—what exactly does that mean?
- Chance then reveals he shares Traci’s concerns.
GCAC Suite
Alan gently reminds Traci that the mind is his specialty.
With a soft smile, Traci tells him she’s an open book—especially to him.
But Alan isn’t convinced. Something’s different, and he can feel it. It’s in her eyes, in the way her voice wavers.
Traci tries to ease his concern, offering reassurance—but he knows her too well to be fooled.
Jazz Lounge
Ashley isn’t worried about waking Traci.
Jack understands that Alan’s return will make the day especially tough for her.
Ashley insists they can’t afford to take any risks.
Jack reassures her they’ll talk to Traci first thing in the morning.
GCAC Suite
Traci tells Alan she’s not going anywhere and offers a heartfelt apology for hurting him.
Alan, suspicious, questions if she’s expecting him to confess something. As tension rises, Traci quietly slips her hand into her pocket and speed dials Jack—just as Alan accuses her of not trusting him.
On the other end, Jack listens in as Alan presses Traci, demanding to know what she’s discovered and why she suddenly seems so afraid of him.
